On Monday, November 21, 2011, Lady Gaga officially opened Gaga's Workshop at Barneys Department Store in New York (in a fabulous, custom designed gown by world renowned head designer of Chanel - Karl Lagerfeld).
The worskshop is located inside of Barney's flagship store and touts a massive square footgae of 5,500 feet. The workshop, filled with jagged mirrors, bright colors, crazy shapes, and a giant cartoon statue of the singer, was conceived, designed, and christened by Mother Monster herself.
"It's a 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' moment," Gaga said. "We wanted it all to be whimsical and fun, with a sense of art and fashion".
Items for sale range from studded leather motorcycle jackets for infants, Gaga Christmas ornaments, special edition Gaga snow globes, hundreds of headbands adorned with bows, iPhone and iPad covers, candies, cookies, lollipops (all featuring Mother Monster), hologram nail polishes, tons of toys, jewelry, accessories, and even a pair of $4,000 heel-less boots.
Gaga herself says that all items are designed to run the gamut of price and aim to appeal to many different ages.
It was also very important to Mother Monster that her workshop have a charitable aspect to it as well. For each product purchased from the Workshop or online, 25% of the sale will be donated to Gaga's anti-bullying Born This Way Foundation.
Gaga's workshop will be open through January 2. You can also purchase many of the goods online at http://bit.ly/tnv1CR
Happy shopping, Little Monsters!!

11 year old Mitchell Wilson RIP
I never meant for this blog to be about bullying but its time things changed - Mother Monster can do it.. This 11 year old boy killed himself after being beaten by an older kid who wanted his dad's iPhone - even worse he was disabled with Muscular Dystrophy. This needs to stop now and us Monsters have the numbers and strength to do it - Obama - do you want to get re-elected? Then make a law to stop bullying immediately - if you do 14 million Monsters will support you!!

iHeartRadio Lady Gaga Tribute to Jamey Rodemeyer
Lady Gaga performs "Hair" in honor of Jamey Rodemeyer.
“We lost a Little Monster this week,” Lady Gaga said at the iHeartRadio Show Saturday. “I wanted to dedicate this song to him tonight because he was really young.”
“I wrote this record about how your identity is really all you’ve got when you’re in school… So tonight, Jamey, I know you’re up there looking at us, and you’re not a victim. You’re a lesson to all of us. I know it’s a bit of a downer, but sometimes the right thing is more important than the music.”
Lady Gaga has requested a meeting with President Obama in regards to making a law to make bullying illegal.
