Mother Monster's New Years Eve outfits

Mother Monster hosts after party on NYE

After one of Mother Monster's greatest nights ever, dropping the ball in Times Square with Mayor Bloomberg for New Years Eve and performing an amazing medley of 'Heavy Metal Love', 'Marry The Night', and 'Born This Way', she was in the mood to party!

Gaga invited several celebrity friends to an exclusive after party at her Restaurant 'Joanne's' to continue the celebration. Some of the guests included Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough, Derek Hough, Ashley Tisdale, Jenny McCarthy, and Demi Lovato. No one's completely sure if new love, Taylor Kinney, was there but it's pretty obvious that he must have been. He was also in NYC last night, seen leaving their hotel just before she did.

You deserve to celebrate, Mother Monster. You were amazing and inspirational last night, like always!

Lady Gaga and Hello Kitty

How adorable is this?? Upon her latest arrival to Japan, Mother Monster was greeted once again with a Hello Kitty replica, so accurate that it's even wearing her Mugler jacket and signature spectacles. Two of my most favorite things, Lady Gaga and Hello Kitty! I am so jealous! This isn't the first time Mother Monster has received a one of a kind Hello Kitty replica either. Remember the one below, also wearing her same outfit and signature hairstyle upon arrival to Japan? I love them both so much! Kawaii!!! (Japanese for 'cute')

Lady Gaga drops the ball!

Did everyone watch last night as Lady Gaga, who was handpicked by Mayor Bloomberg, pushed the button to drop the ball in Times Square? It was pretty amazing. Mother Monster, being a native New Yorker, has said that she was more than honored to push the button right before the stroke of midnight. Could that headpiece be any more appropriate? The answer is no. I love it. It appeared to me, even behind the mask, that Mother Monster was beyond emotional during the largest NYE celebration in the world. Take a look at the clip.

Marry The Night Ballet Slippers

Check out the 18 inch, heel-less ballet slippers that Lady Gaga wore in the video for 'Marry The Night'. We all know she's talented, but being able to walk in those things - now THAT's talent!!
I love how they have her name inscribed on the soles!

Gaga poses for the January 2012 issue of Vanity Fair! (Naked)

Gaga poses for the January 2012 issue of Vanity Fair!

Here are some quotes from the interview:

About her fans and her love life: “I say this honestly, and this is my new thing as of the past year: when I fight with someone I’m in a relationship with, I think, What would my fans think if they knew this was happening? How would they feel about my work and about me as a female if they knew I was allowing this to go on? And then I get out.”

On her bad romances with creative people: “I have this effect on people where it starts out good. Then, when I’m in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there and it’s all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me. Perhaps it’s a whose-dick-is-bigger contest. If I go to the piano and write a quick song and play it back, they are angry with how fast and effortless it is. That’s who I am, and I don’t apologize for it. But it’s a hideous place to be in when someone that you love has convinced you that you will never be good enough for anyone. I had a man say to me, ‘You will die alone in a house bigger than you know, with all your money and hit records, and you will die alone.’ Even though I know it sounds a bit Hallmark whenever I was in that kind of stressful, worthless moment, I would think, I’ll show you.’ I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think that what intimidates them is not my purse; it’s my mind.”

On being proposed to by said intimidated creative people: “How fuckin’ romantic, you asshole. Sure, pop a ring on my finger and make it all better. I can buy myself a fuckin’ ring.

Gaga on the Cover of ELLE Magazine January 2012

Gaga is on the cover of Elle Magazine and also did an interview for the January 2012 issue. Here are a couple interesting quotes from the interview:

When asked about her relationship with Taylor Kinney - 'I have never felt truly cherished by a lover. I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man.' and goes on to say: 'I have this effect on people where it starts out good, Then, when I’m in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there and it’s all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me."

When asked how she takes care of her skin - "Orgasms, lots of Orgasms."

Sounds like a must have issue of Elle - lets make sure to buy it!!

Mother Monster unveils Gaga's Workshop at Barneys

On Monday, November 21, 2011, Lady Gaga officially opened Gaga's Workshop at Barneys Department Store in New York (in a fabulous, custom designed gown by world renowned head designer of Chanel - Karl Lagerfeld).

The worskshop is located inside of Barney's flagship store and touts a massive square footgae of 5,500 feet. The workshop, filled with jagged mirrors, bright colors, crazy shapes, and a giant cartoon statue of the singer, was conceived, designed, and christened by Mother Monster herself.

"It's a 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' moment," Gaga said. "We wanted it all to be whimsical and fun, with a sense of art and fashion".

Items for sale range from studded leather motorcycle jackets for infants, Gaga Christmas ornaments, special edition Gaga snow globes, hundreds of headbands adorned with bows, iPhone and iPad covers, candies, cookies, lollipops (all featuring Mother Monster), hologram nail polishes, tons of toys, jewelry, accessories, and even a pair of $4,000 heel-less boots.

Gaga herself says that all items are designed to run the gamut of price and aim to appeal to many different ages.

It was also very important to Mother Monster that her workshop have a charitable aspect to it as well. For each product purchased from the Workshop or online, 25% of the sale will be donated to Gaga's anti-bullying Born This Way Foundation.

Gaga's workshop will be open through January 2. You can also purchase many of the goods online at http://bit.ly/tnv1CR

Happy shopping, Little Monsters!!
